DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in creating, editing, and publishing content across multiple communication channels, including press releases, newsletters, blog posts, internal communications, and social media platforms
  • Support the development and distribution of internal communications such as company announcements, employee newsletters, and intranet updates
  • Assist with the design of communication materials using basic design tools (e.g., Canva) in line with brand guidelines
  • Support the management of the company’s social media platforms by scheduling content, monitoring engagement, and tracking performance metrics
  • Conduct research on industry trends, media opportunities, and communication best practices to support content planning and strategy
  • Assist in organising and promoting corporate events, webinars, and internal engagements
  • Provide administrative support, including updating communication calendars, media lists, and preparing basic reports
  • Support projects and initiatives within the Corporate Communications department

EDUCATIONAL & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in mass communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 6 months’ relevant experience in Communications / Marketing / Public Relations.

COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

  • Strong willingness to learn and develop skills in corporate communications and media relations
  • Basic experience using design tools such as Canva or similar platforms
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive attitude with the ability to take initiative and follow through on tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools and social media platforms
  • Positive attitude, professionalism, and openness to feedback
