• Drive transaction origination for the Company’s issuing house business by leveraging industry knowledge and networks.
  • Cold outreach, developing partnerships, running campaigns, participating in business plan competitions to maximize deal flow.
  • Proactive identification and assessment of potential target investment companies.
  • Individual company analysis and research of selected target companies including financial, strategic and competitor analysis.
  • Provision of research information to support transaction.
  • Showcase deals, develop investor syndicates, align different types of investors.
  • Actively advise founders and investors on deal matters including valuation, key terms, due diligence, documentation to ensure timely execution and closure.
  • Collate, tabulate, and present data to respective stakeholders pertaining to derivative embedded physical deal structuring, valuation of partnership opportunities, and trade structured finance.
  • Research and analyse market data and daily curve to look for arbitrage opportunities.
  • Understand rating advisory and listing requirements that may be necessary to facilitate the issuance of bonds in the Nigerian capital markets.
  • Build financial models and undertake valuations relevant to specific transactions.
  • Engage in detailed technical and financial negotiations with clients and other parties to an issue.
  • Identifying prospects suitable to approach i.e. reputed mid-sized corporates (may be done on basis of Revenues/Industry/Rating etc.)
  • Discuss & identify opportunities by taking the lead in the issuance marketing process, including meetings and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Negotiating & closing of mandates with suitable companies to take up the fundraising assignment.


  • 7 minimum years’ experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in business-related field
  • Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
  • Any relevant professional qualification (CFA, ACCA ICAN or MBA is an added advantage)
