• Degree in relevant discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Good knowledge of the Financial Service Sector
• Implementing and maintaining internal financial control and procedures
• Suggesting updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing
• Ensuring that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
• Processing daily trading activity for all funds, including corporate actions, while working closely with the Trading Operations Team
• Implementation of financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation
• Assisting with the month-end closing process and financial statement reporting process
• Participation in special projects to enhance accounting, operations and reporting processes
• Assisting with the development of budgets and financial plans for the company
• Preparing annual audit schedules, compliance reports, annual financial statements and other reports
