Equities Market
· The Nigerian Equity Bourse recorded a downward slide, as NSE ASI and Market capitalization both decreased by 0.39% to 27,755.87 Index Points and N14.456 Tr respectively. Year-to-Date ASI is still at a positive of 3.40%.
· Number of trade, Volume of trade and Value of trade all decreased by 0.28%, 12.01% and 53.99% to 3189, 132.624 Million and 1.280 Billion respectively.
· CAVERTON topped the gainers’ table percentage price change by 9.60%, while GUINNESS & NEIMETH led the losers’ chart with percentage price change by -10.00%.
· Market breadth was negative with Nine (9) price gainers and Nineteen (19) price losers.
