Daily financial market update 2020 FEB 27

Equities Market
· The Nigerian Equity Bourse recorded a downward slide, as NSE ASI and Market capitalization both decreased by 0.62% to 26,808.24 Index Points and N13.966 Tr respectively. Year-to-Date ASI is now at a negative of -0.13%.
· Volume of trade and Value of trade both increased by 1.38% and 63.69% to 231.53 Million and N4.481 Billion while Number of trade decreased by 5.87% to 3606 respectively.
· JAIZBANK topped the gainers’ table percentage price change by 9.43%, while FLOURMILL led the losers’ chart with percentage price change by -8.70%.
· Market breadth was negative with Thirteen (13) price gainers and Nineteen (19) price losers.
