Record U.S. job growth expected in June, but masks labor market weakness

Unemployment rate is a driver of the US economy. The US unemployment rate is forecast to decrease by 12.3% in June 2020 from 13.3% in May 2020. Despite two straight months of gains, employment would still be about 16.6 million jobs below its pre-pandemic level.
