FIRS Generated N4Trillion Year to Date For 2019 Fiscal Year:
The Federal Inland Revenue Service reported that from January to September 2019, it agency has collected the sum for N4.01trillion, from eligible willing taxpayer, compared to N3.94billion collected within the same period for the previous year, which indicated a marginal growth of 1.78%. The top hierarchy of the agency held that the bracket of willing and eligible taxpayer could be expanded through the enactment of law that seeks to imprison tax defaulter, which will serve as a deterrent to perpetual tax defaulters.
CBN’s manufacturing index rises by 58.2 points
The Manufacturing index for the month of October continued on an expansionary growth as its PMI stood at 58.2 index point, representing a thirty-first consecutive month, also the accompany components of the Manufacturing PMI ( Production Level , New Orders, Suppliers delivery time, employment level and Raw materials inventories) all recorded consecutive growth.
